Teachers and Administrators

This is NOT counseling. It's a peer-to-peer conversation. No notes are taken. No records or reporting.

Having a virtual “coffee” with a peer can be helpful.

Enjoy Being an Educator Again

You listen to others all day long.  Who listens to you?

Educators are often focused on others' needs, but not always their own. It's OK to ask for help.

Taking care of yourself is another way to take care of your students.

Here Is How It Works. Peer to Peer.

Your work setting

Success! A peer coach will contact you via email.

Step 1

You Let Us Know The Basics

When completing the form, let us know your preferences:  male vs. female, elementary vs. secondary ed, instructional services/special ed vs. general ed, or content specialty. You will receive an email in a couple of business days about scheduling a phone call or virtual meeting.

Step 2

We Find Your Peer Match

Be matched with a peer coach. Nothing will be recorded and no notes will be taken. It doesn't matter how sensitive the conversation is.

Step 3

You Both Get Valuable Insights

Everyone is a volunteer. There is no agenda here. Just peer-to-peer support and conversations to help clarify problem areas or offer resources and referrals as needed.

You take care of others all the time. Who is taking care of you?

Too often, educators avoid seeking emotional support when things get tough. Talking about personal struggles with friends, spouses or colleagues doesn’t always feel right.

The emotional stress and the pressure to always be “on” can take a toll.

If you are a teacher or administrator in Arizona, you can visit the Educator Peer Support Program and be paired with a peer educator who can help you to alleviate the pressure that can sometimes lead to destructive behavior such as substance abuse, depression, or conflict with others.

Don’t tough it out alone.

If you are struggling and want to have an informal and

confidential conversation with a peer, this is for you.

Are you in crisis?

While peer coaches are experienced teachers and administrators supported by CCA’s professional mental health clinicians, the program is not meant as an emergency resource.
